An estimated 250,000 electric vehicles will be on Oregon’s roads by 2025. To fuel them, we’ll need more charging options, especially for customers who do not have access to home charging.
Transitioning to electric transportation will take more than simply swapping conventional cars for EVs. For PGE, this transition is also about helping all customers - of all sizes - make the shift.Â
As the country moves toward using cleaner energy, Oregon has taken a front row seat in electrifying our transportation infrastructure and Portland General Electric has provided opportunities for PGE customers to participate in the TE transition.
Portland General Electric is excited to celebrate this annual event by participating in various events throughout September to help educate our community on electric vehicles. If you’re considering making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV) and curious about the cost savings and benefits to our environment, we invite you to join us at one of our community events.
