The Pelton Round Butte Fund was set up to protect and enhance habitat for Deschutes River fish. We help fund habitat conservation, fish passage and water quality projects on the Deschutes basin.
In partnership with the Tribes, we've supported 59 projects throughout the Deschutes Basin. Since 2005, we’ve invested $27.5 million in projects such as removing fish passage barriers, stabilizing stream banks, restoring channels and floodplains and conserving water.

“We have an obligation to do everything in our power to bring these fish runs back. It’s important to the ecological function of this place. It’s important to the native peoples. And frankly, it’s going to be important to the future generations here in Central Oregon.”
