The road to a clean energy future depends on a reliable, fast-charging infrastructure. Let’s travel it together.
Charging large EV trucks just took a big leap forward. Electric Island, a joint development between Daimler Trucks North America and Portland General Electric, is the first autonomous charging site designed with heavy-duty trucks in mind. The site is open to the public and provides nine vehicle charging stations with charging levels of up to one megawatt.
Our Fleet Partner program takes all the guesswork out of transitioning your fleet, so you can realize both your sustainability and economic goals. We study your fleet charging needs based on your input and then engineers, designs, installs, and maintains the supporting infrastructure needed for you to install charging stations. We also help fund these projects, reducing your cost for deploying charging infrastructure.
EVs typically cost less to operate because fuel and maintenance costs are lower. When you own and operate an EV charger, whether it’s for your fleet, your employees or the public, you generate Clean Fuel Credits through the Oregon Clean Fuels Program. We can help you turn the credits your chargers earn into revenue for your business. How it works.

An electrified fleet can help you meet your organization’s cost and environmental goals. Visit the PGE Total Cost of Ownership tool to calculate the fuel savings and environmental impact of going electric.
