The Smart Charging program helps support a more reliable energy grid by shifting EV charging for a few hours every weekday when energy demand is high. During Smart Charging Events, your charger will pause charging and start again once the event ends.
Participating can also earn you a $25 bill credit each season. And if you ever need to charge right away, you can opt out of an event anytime through your charging app.
