How Portland General Electric is bringing good energy to the community this summer

June 15, 2023

At Portland General Electric we believe that providing safe, affordable and reliable energy is just a portion of the work we do for our customers. Through strategic partnerships with local organizations and employee volunteering, we are working to cultivate stronger relationships with the communities we serve. Additionally, we are sharing education resources at various summer events, to empower communities to play an active role in our clean energy transition.

As the academic year winds down, the learning will continue through the summer as PGE’s new Climate Keepers comic book PGE, created in partnership with Dark Horse Comics, will make the rounds at several community events, including the Oregon Zoo and Multnomah County’s Schools Uniting Neighborhood PGE sites.
