Reduce your fleet operating costs with the EV Fleet Time of Use pilot

Designed to help you save on your energy bill when you adjust your charging habits.

Unlock your EV fleet’s load flexibility

Join the pilot and we’ll help you create a plan to schedule your fleet charging during off-peak hours, when rates are lowest. You’ll receive a monthly Time of Use report to see how things are going and make recommendations to increase savings.

The goal: Lower charging costs while keeping your fleet ready for the road.

How the pilot works

It starts with a free one-on-one consultation with a PGE Time of Use expert. Together, you’ll review your current energy load, your operational needs, and how your energy use could adjust away from on-peak hours to times when rates are lower. Each month, we’ll work with you to help reach off-peak charging goals.

The pilot is designed for commercial and industrial PGE customers with operational EV chargers that have a flexible load.

Is the Time of Use pilot right for you?

The EV Fleet Time of Use pilot may be a good fit for your business if you're looking to understand your fleet's charging costs and unlock potential savings while keeping your fleet operational.

Have questions about the pilot?

A Time of Use expert can help you understand how the pilot works and whether it could be a good fit for your fleet.

See what shifting energy can do

This pilot is part of a growing effort to increase the flexibility of the way we use energy. With PGE Flex Power programs, businesses and homes shift some energy use away from peak times to help support a more reliable, increasingly clean energy grid.

Help shape the future of fleet charging

By participating in the pilot, you'll help PGE better understand what businesses with electric fleets need from future rates and programs. What we learn from your experience, including what works and what doesn't, can help shape future options for fleet customers.

Support a more reliable grid

Charging during off-peak hours helps ease strain on the power grid when energy use is at its highest. That added flexibility can help support a stronger, more reliable energy system.

Make room for clean energy

Shifting charging away from peak times can help create more flexibility on the power grid to support the use of increasingly clean energy resources.

Help build a more flexible energy grid

When businesses can shift some charging away from peak times, it reduces strain on the power grid and provides more flexibility when energy demand is high. This pilot will also help PGE learn how EV fleet charging could play a role in future energy programs.
