Integrated resource planning is an ongoing process and there are opportunities to influence it at each stage. If you have thoughts on our plans or our process at any time, please share them with us at IRP@pgn.com. You can also attend our public meetings where we seek input and suggestions about our approach, priorities, and factors we should consider as we develop our plan. To get on our roundtable email list, please send a note to IRP@pgn.com. Members of the public as well as government entities, non-profit organizations, community groups, and businesses can participate in the IRP process in a few different ways. As we develop the IRP, PGE holds a series of public meetings where we present information and seek input on our approaches. While these meetings are typically held in person, we are currently holding them virtually and adjusting the meeting frequency to allow for shorter meetings. We can also meet with individuals or small groups – sharing what we heard and getting additional input, for those who are interested but cannot attend a scheduled meeting. What value does the IRP public process provide? – People can have an impact on the company’s plans through participation. Participation in the informal process can help to create more transparency, influence PGE’s plan as it is developed, and create space for direct input to PGE teams.
The considerations and priorities of PGE, OPUC staff, and other participating groups
How PGE arrived at the action plan; what needs and opportunities PGE balanced during development
How the action plan meets PGE customer needs Influence: what can people influence by participating?
The considerations and priorities PGE should consider during analysis and development of the action plan
How our analysis treats information like costs, prices, climate change data, etc.
You can show us our blind spots which PGE can incorporate into analysis and/ or the way we talk about our results
A wider range of life and professional experiences helps us identify actions which serve more people and types of communities
